Two players from the Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club have recently been honored as All-Stars for the Southern Nevada High School All-Star Game. DLVSC  05 Gold players Valeria Castillo and Emma Murphy have been selected to play in the match with southern Nevada high school stand outs.

Valarie has been with DLVSC for a number or years and plays in the number 6 spot. She plays for Durango High School.

“Val is a great player for us as she has been growing in the position of holding midfield”, noted coach JC Castillo, “She does a great job of defending the ball then transitioning into the attack.

Emma, who plays for Legacy High School, has also been part of the club for a number of years plays defender for the club. Coach JC says of Emma, “Emma is such a great defender and is very smart.  She has great technical skills and she is very smart on ball.”

Both girls plan on playing college and are looking forward to a successful season with Downtown before graduating this spring.
