DLVSC 2007 EA Team Will Compete In The USYS National Championships

The Downtown Las Vegas Soccer 07 EA Team is set to compete in the USYS National Championship in Orlando, Florida  starting this weekend. They secured their spot in the tournament by finishing as the runner-up in the Far West Regional Championships. The Region IV champion, La Roca from Utah, had already secured a place in the finals through their success in the USYS National League, leaving a spot available for the team.

“I think throughout the season they have totally progressed,” says coach Vince Martinez. “They have matured, they have a better mindset of the game and they are excited.  They set a goal at the beginning of the season they they wanted to go to natioanals, and the eveyone is so proud of them.  Plus they are all really great guys”

During the regional tournament, the team displayed impressive performances, advancing from the group stage and knockout rounds to secure a place in the Far West Regional Finals.

Although their journey concluded with a defeat to La Roca, finishing as the runner-up in the region is a remarkable accomplishment. The team should be proud of their achievements and the hard work that led them to this point.
