Downtown Las Vegas Soccer

Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club would like to congratulate Enrique Avila and Justin Geracci on their selection to the Colorado Rapids 05’ Academy team to play in the prestigious Generation Adidas MLS tournament in Frisco, Texas. The Generation Adidas Cup is an elite youth tournament specializing in the U17 age group showcasing the best teams in the country and future stars of the MLS. The addition of the U12 age group in 2013 brought a small-sided 7v7 competition to the Cup opening up opportunities to players in the 05’ age groups. This year’s competition featured 18 MLS academy teams.
The Colorado Rapids 05’ Academy team was selected by our Adidas Alliance Technical Director Danny Stone, consisting of six players from the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club, two from the Carolina Rapids Youth Soccer Club, two from the Rio Rapids Youth Soccer Club and two from the Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club. The boys trained in Denver prior to traveling to Frisco, Texas to compete against Orlando City SC, Toronto FC, Portland Timbers and DC United. Congratulations to Enrique and Justin on their selection and competitive experience in the 2016-2017 Generation Adidas Cup!
