A New CONCACAF 2022 World Cup Qualifying Format Is Announced
A new qualifying format for CONCACAF teams to qualify for the 3.5 spots they will hold in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Qualifying will take place from June 2021 through March 2022. Eight teams will compete with the top three teams automatically qualifying for Qatar and the fourth-place finisher going into an intercontinental playoff which will be contested during the June 2022 FIFA international window.
