
Developmental Stage 1 U6 – U8
Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club (DLVSC) looks to provide U6 through U8 players with a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate soccer environment.

Program Structure
- Each team will be led by a licensed and qualified staff coach
- Teams play small sided-sided games (4 v 4) with no goalkeepers and a focus on improving the player’s technical ability with the ball
- Practice will be held twice a week for a duration of 60 minutes from August through May
- Teams will play regular games, both in the Fall and the Spring
Developmental Stage 2 – U9-U10
- Have fun playing soccer and being physically active in a team setting
- Teams train and play in a player-centered, growth-focused environment
- Technical skill development is a top priority
- Introduction to positional play
Program Structure
- Each team will be led by a licensed and qualified staff coach
- Teams play small-sided games (7 v 7) with the introduction of goalkeepers and positional play
- Practice will be held twice a week for a duration of 60 minutes from August to May
Teams will play regular games, both in the Fall and the Spring
Competitive Stage 1 – U11-U12
Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club (DLVSC) looks to provide U11 and U12 players with a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate soccer environment.
- Have fun playing soccer and being physically active in a team setting
- Teams train and play in a player-centered, growth-focused environment with an awareness of competitive gameplay
- Technical skill development and functional application are top priorities
- Teamwork and interpersonal relationship skills will develop as players grow socially and cognitively
Program Structure
- Each team will be led by a licensed and qualified staff coach
- Teams play small-sided games (9 v 9)
- Practice will be held three times a week for a duration of 90 minutes from August to May
- Teams will play regular games, both in the Fall and the Spring
- Out-of-Town travel for some groups may be introduced in moderation
Competitive Stage 2 – U13-U14
Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club (DLVSC) looks to provide U13 and U14 players with a fun, safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate soccer environment.
- Teams train and play in a player-center, growth-focused, performance environment
- Teams aim to compete at the highest levels available
- Technical skill development is a top priority, with players showing functional application, creativity, and problem solving
- Tactical development includes team concepts and understanding positional roles and responsibilities
- Psychological development will center around focus, concentration, motivation, and work ethic.
- Physical training and athletic development has a specific, age-appropriate approach

- Teams play in full-sided game model (11 v 11)
- Practice will be held three times a week for a duration of 90 minutes from August to May
- Teams will play regular games, both in the Fall and the Spring
- Out-of-Town travel will take place in moderation
Competitive Stage 3 – U15-U19
Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club (DLVSC) looks to provide U15 and U19 players with a fun, safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate soccer environment.
- Teams train and play in a player-centered, growth-focused, performance environment
- Teams aim to compete at the highest levels available
- Elite-level commitment is expected
- Players exposed to the style of training and expectation that will prepare them for future college or professional playing opportunities

- Each team will be led by a licensed and qualified staff coach
- Practice will be held three times a week for a duration of 90 minutes from November to May
- Teams will play regular games, November through May
- Out-of-Town travel will take place to seek out high-level competition and provide exposure to playing opportunities beyond Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club
Goalkeepers
Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club (DLVSC) looks to provide goalkeepers with training in a fun, safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate soccer environment.
- Position specific training
- Building a technical foundation is a top priority
- Age-appropriate physical development
Learn the role of the goalkeeper in the game and in the team
Program Structure
- Goalkeeper Training is led by licensed and qualified coaches
- Goalkeeper Training sessions will be held twice per week from August through May
- U6 through U10 players will be introduced to the Goalkeeper position in a clinic format
- U11 through U19 players will have regular training sessions in age-appropriate training groups
- U11 through U19 Goalkeepers will be observed in match situations in addition to training opportunities
