The 2021/2022 Year Has Been Quite A Busy Year For Soren Bible.

The past 12 months have been quite the ride for DLVSC 05 Gold goalkeeper Soren Bible.
It started off with the amazing Nevada State Cup championship.  The DLVSC team pulled off two stunning upsets to claim the championships and earn a spot in the Far West Regional Championships in Idaho.  Soren made some incredible saves in those games that certainly would normally have been goals.
Soon after that accomplishment, Soren was invited to  trial at the new MLS Academy team FC Cincinnati.  The trial consisted of two goalkeeper trainings per day.  While on the trial, Soren also had and opportunity to explore Cincinnati including the Loveland Castle.
Soren is coached by Frank D’Amelio who said, “Soren is an athletic goalkeeper with quick reflexes and shot blocking ability.  He is very comfortable with the ball at his feet and playing our the back with his feet.  He has good communication with his teammates.  He is one of our leaders and the players on the team look up to him.
Soren receives special goalkeeper training as a member of Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club.  Abdel Rodriquez, Soren’s goalkeeper coach and owner of the Kronis Academy says

“Soren is one of the best goalkeepers to ever come out of Las Vegas. At his age, Soren has already understood what is takes to be in an MLS environment.  We are excited to see what the world brings him as we believe his technical and tactical talent will pave the way for his future.”
Although the high school junior is the goalkeeper for Silverado High School, he attends Nevada State High School taking pre-college courses. In between soccer and school he works at Starbucks too.
In 2020 Soren was a guest goalkeeper for Peru in the 2020 Las Vegas Mayors Cup. An opportunity referred to him by DLVSC. It was fun to meet and learn about their culture. They were very generous and treated Soren well.
This past month Soren his team played in the USYS National League Showcase in  Mesa AZ.
