Two DLVSC Teams Win The 2021 Presidents Cup FWR

Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club will have 2 teams competing in the 2021 Presidents Cup in Salt Lake City from June 16 – 20.

UPDATE 6/20/21

CHAMPIONS! Downtown 03 Gold boys beat La Roca FC of Utah 5-1 to win the 2021 Presidents Cup Region IV finals.  The team has earned a spot in the National Presidents Cup in Des Moines, IA starting July 7.

CHAMPIONS! The 2004 Gold team has won a spot in the National Presidents Cup by defeating East Valley/NSFC from Arizona 8-3.  The team scored 34 goals in 5 games, which is a Presidents Cup record.

UPDATE 6/19/21

Finals Bound ! Downtown 03 Gold boys beat Casa FC Thunders 2003 of Colorado 3-1.  The boys are set to play in the Regional Finals on Sunday.  The will face the top team from Group B, La Roca FC La Roca N Odeh from Utah. Good luck boys!

Heading to the Finals! The 2004 boys won their semifinal match 6-4 against Aggies FC of Utah.  They  will be up against the winners of Group B, East Valley/NSFC from Arizona. Well done lads, and good luck on Sunday.

UPDATE 6/18/21

Downtown 03 Gold boys beat League 30 Titans FC 03B from Utah 2-0.  With the victory, the team will advance to Saturday’s semifinal match against Casa FC Thunders 2003 of Colorado.  The team only conceded 1 goal during group play. The semifinal match will kickoff at 8:00aM

The 2004 boys have won their group with a victory over FCA SC B2004 of Cal South.  The team won 5-0 and ended group play 3-0 and only conceded 1 goal.  As winners of their group, they will face the 2nd place team in Group B, Aggies FC of Utah at 8:00AM on Saturday

UPDATE 6/17/21

Downtown 03 Gold boys beat Montana Surf / Blitzz FC MT SURF Gold 2002B-PR from Montana 3-0.  This is the teams second win and will have one more game in group play tomorrow.  The team will be up against League 30 Titans FC 03B from Utah, who have yet to score a goal.

The 2004 boys easily won their second game against Gallatin Elite Soccer Club GESC black 2004b of Montana.  The team turned it on by a score of 12-0.  The victory brings the team closer to a semi-finals berth with one group game to go.  The team will take on FCA SC B2004 of Cal South next.

UPDATE 6/16/21

Downtown 2003 Destroyed Eastside Timbers EST 03B Red II (OR) 6-1 in the opening day of the Presidents Cup Region IV tournament. the team will be in action again tomorrow where they will be takin on Montana Surf / Blitzz FC MT SURF Gold 2002B-PR (MT). The team from Montana also won big today with a 3-0 win against League 30 Titans FC 03B of Utah.

The 2004 boys won their fist group game 3-1 against FC Salmon Creek FCSC 04B Juventus White from Oregon. The team will face Gallatin Elite Soccer Club GESC black 2004b of Montana in tomorrows match.

2003 Gold Boys
The team coached by Gerald Kearney surprised everyone with a victory over former national champion LVSA 03 Silver in the Nevada State Cup semi-finals.  The victory got them a shot at the state cup, but unfortunately the team came up short in the finals and now compete in for the Presidents Cup national championship.  Before they do that, they will need to win the regional competition.  See their schedule and results here: Schedule and Results

2004 Gold Boys
the 04 Gold boys is coached by former USMNT and US Soccer hall of famer Eric Wynalda. The team also enters the Presidents Cup as the NV state cup runner up. The team has a great chance of winning the Presidents Cup National championship, but will first need to win in regionals. You can see their schedule and results here: Schedule and Results
