The DLVSC 08 Gold Girls Team Wins State Cup Championship

The 2008 Gold Girls team have won the National Championship Series – Nevada State Cup, and are the Nevada State Champions.  The girls won their final game 3-0 giving them an aggregate score of 4-2 over the 08 team from Prime.  In the two game series, Prime won the first match 2-1, so in order to win the championship, the girls from Downtown had to win by at least 2 goals.  The team will now begin to start training for the regional championships that will be played in Boise ID. The team is coached by Travis Koehlmoos. Congratulations to the team and coach Travis.  We are inspired by your achievement.
